All cakes are made to order using a combination of the best ingredients and finest flavours including unrefined sugars and locally sourced Free Range Eggs. Cakes can also be made in vegetarian versions.Rich fruit cakes are covered in marzipan and Sugarpaste before decorating. Chocolate, Carrot, Lemon and Vanilla cakes can be covered in flavoured buttercream and Sugarpaste or just buttercream before decorating. 

 

VANILLA SPONGE

Traditional Vanilla sponge made with free range eggs, unrefined golden caster sugar and flavoured with Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract and filled with vanilla buttercream and Raspberry preserve.The cake is then coated in vanilla buttercream before being covered in sugarpaste.

CHOCOLATE CAKE

Moist Chocolate cake made with free range eggs and unrefined golden caster sugar, flavoured with Green & Black's cocoa and organic chocolate. Filled with chocolate buttercream and topped with Dark chocolate ganache and white chocolate curls.

RICH FRUIT CAKE

Rich fruit cake made with Juicy Sultanas, Raisins, currants and cherries, Free range eggs and Unrefined Molasses sugar then covered in Marzipan and sugarpaste - delicious served the Yorkshire way with a slice of Wensleydale cheese !

LEMON CAKE

Lucious Lemon cake made with free range eggs & unrefined golden caster sugar flavoured with fresh lemon zest then drizzled with lemon syrup and  Limoncello liquer (optional) This cake can be coated in lemon curd or lemon buttercream before being covered in Sugarpaste and then decorated.

CARROT CAKE

Moist carrot cake made with free range eggs, unrefined brown sugar, finely grated carrot and coconut with rum soaked sultanas and walnuts (optional) then drizzled with a syrup made from the zest of fresh citrus fruits. This cake can be filled and coated with a lemon & orange buttercream before being covered in sugarpaste.
